Homeda Guar Gum Powder is made from guar beans with nothing else added. Food grade, fine 200 mesh, creamy white, with no smell or taste of its own. For soups, gravies, ice cream and gluten free baking.

Benefits:

HOMEDA GUAR GUM POWDER - Made from guar beans and nothing else is added to it. This is a food grade powder, fine 200 mesh, creamy white in colour, with no smell and no taste of its own.
MIX IT PROPERLY SO THAT LUMPS DO NOT FORM - Guar gum forms lumps if you put it directly into water. First mix it well with a spoon of oil, sugar or flour, then add this mixture to your dish.
VERY LITTLE IS ENOUGH - Guar gum is around 8 times stronger than cornflour. Quarter spoon is enough for one cup of soup or gravy. If you add more than needed, food becomes sticky and tastes odd.
FOR ICE CREAM, KULFI AND GLUTEN FREE BAKING - Quarter spoon in one batch keeps ice cream and kulfi smooth, without ice crystals. One spoon per cup of flour helps gluten free bread and cake rise well.
KEEP THE PACK CLOSED AND DRY - Guar gum takes in moisture from the air and starts forming lumps inside the pack. Close it properly after every use and keep in a cool dry place. Best within 24 months.

How to use -

Mix the powder well with a spoon of oil, sugar or flour first, then add it to your dish while stirring so lumps don't form. Use about ¼ teaspoon per cup of soup or gravy, ¼ teaspoon per batch of ice cream or kulfi, and 1 teaspoon per cup of gluten free flour.

Start with a small amount and add more only if needed, because too much makes food sticky. Close the pack properly after each use and store it in a cool, dry place.
